How to Make Garlic Essential Oil

  • Peel garlic cloves and chop them into fine pieces until you fill a shallow soup dish or a bowl with it.
  • You can fill the bowl with raw organic extra virgin olive oil or mere water.
  • You can choose to boil the chopped garlic for 5 to 10 minutes or you can just mash the garlic with spoon and soak it in water for 48 hours without boiling it since boiling is believed to destroy the important compounds found in garlic.
  • You can also opt to boil the garlic in water below 5 minutes then microwave it until boiling point then soak it in water for 48 hours.
  • As you soak the chopped garlic for 48 hours, make sure to cover the bowl with cheesecloth or muslin to prevent it from getting contaminated.
  • After 48 hours, press and strain off the chopped garlic using the cheesecloth or a tea or coffee strainer. You can throw away the pulp or use it as poultice for facial treatment.
  • Put the garlic essential oil in a bottle and cover it tightly.

  • Tightly cover the garlic essential oil.
  • Keep it in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep it away from children’s reach.
  • Make sure that you would only ingested or take garlic essential oil from unopened container.
  • After opening the container or bottle, refrigerate it to prevent it from getting contaminated.
