Question: I am suffering from hydrocele from last 10 years and just informed doctor about that. He told me to have a surgery. Is there any way to treat hydrocele without surgery or by taking some medicines?

Hydrocele is a common condition, which results in accumulation of fluid in the tunica vaginalis, the sac that surrounds the testicles. It can occur at any age but is common among older men.

    I am suffering from big and old hydrocele. Can hyrocele be treated by medicine.

    No there is no non-surgical way of treating hydrocele. They can be drained or surgically removed. A third option is drainage and injection of a scarring agent to close the opening which allowed fluid entry to begin with. There is no medicine which will correct the problem.
