Heartburn is a burning feeling in the chest and esophagus, caused by indigestion. Acid liquid in the stomach rises and moves into the esophagus causing burning sensation. This occurs particularly when you lie down after drinking fruit juices, coffee or alcohol or after eating. Approach your physician to cure serious stomach illnesses.

I have this strange thick feeling in my throat, especially after eating food, It feels if the food coming back in my throat, I went for the camera, it shows my stomach is burn from the sour, my Dr. gave me a pink tab to drink, but it seems the problem just getting bigger. Can you please give me advise, is there only a certain food I must eat to make it better. Your assistance herein is highly appreciated.
Your symptoms looks similar to acid reflux disorder also known as GERD. Some of the causes are stress, alcohol, smoking, eating large meals before retiring to bed, drinking lot of colas, hiatus hernia etc.
Raw honey is very useful; it makes the throat smooth, enhances digestion of food and coats the irritated esophageal tissue.
Ginger absorbs excess of stomach acid.
Eat a slice of apple after meals, the pectin present in apple helps to bind the stomach acid.
