Dark Stool, Intestine Bloatedness Diet | Flatulence, Bowel Cleanse Foods

Question:

I had dark stools for 5-7 days, and thereafter, excessive gas formation and bowel movement 2 hours after a lunch for 3-4 days. Now my hemoglobin level is down to 13 points from 14 points in March. What could be the problem?

Answer:

What you are suffering from is hemorrhoids / piles. But, I would recommend a visit to the doctor for a complete examination, and also getting an ultra sound of the abdomen done, to ascertain if there is any disorder.

Stomach Bloating Diet

  • Begin your day with a fistful of raisins that have been soaked overnight in water.
  • Eat 5 dates or 3 dry figs everyday. These will not only aid in healthy bowel movement and peristalsis, but will also improve your hemoglobin count, since, they are full of iron. (Avoid taking iron supplements, excessive supplementation can cause constipation)
  • Also, after every meal consume 2 spoons of caraway seeds. They are the best carminative and digestive that check gas formation and bloatedness.
  • Drink plenty of water. Water plays an important role in purging fecal wastes from the body, easily and completely. It also eliminates the need to strain at stool, thus averting the occurrence of piles.
  • Do not stay hungry for long intervals of time. It causes acidity, heart burn and flatulence.
  • Never eat heavy meals, try to have 5 to 6 small meals through the day.
