Diabetes patients easily contract respiratory tract infections. Tuberculosis especially is more prevalent. They contract it after diabetes coma and when lung cavities are usually filled with pus.

  • The patient should have a well-balanced diet and build up immunity.
  • Avoid de-natured foods like refined cereals, tinned and preserved food, white flour and sugar.
  • Indian gooseberry is considered an excellent remedy for tuberculosis. Two teaspoons of this juice can be taken daily to promote energy and enthusiasm.
