- In some cases, if the swine flu is not immediately treated, the result can lead to respiratory failure. During the outbreak of the disease early this year, most patients died because of respiratory failure than from other reasons associated with the swine flu.
Swine flu effects are indeed terrible even to simply think of them. This is the reason why prevention has taken a center stage in trying to control the disease. Moreover, once the flu is treated, it is by no means certain that one will not be affected again. l
