What do Heart Murmurs mean?

You hear two sounds when you listen to anyone’s heart with a stethoscope. That is, one after the other in succession. These sounds are normal. But if there is presence of an extra sound it is usually called a murmur. The sound of blood flowing through the heart is called a murmur.

During certain stages of development heart murmurs are normal. When you have fever there is often murmur due to the blood rushing through the heart.
