Treating Dandruff in Children | Symptoms and Remedies for Dandruff

It is a condition where the scalp (skin and hair on the head) is affected. White scales are shed and are visible in the hair. Sometimes these white patches can be seen on the scalp.

Symptoms

The white scales are actually dead skin cells that are shed off. Itchiness is one of the major factor’s that accompanies flakiness.

• Avoid doing anything in mild cases.
• In more severe cases when the scalp is involved, coal tar shampoo is helpful.
