Natural Cure for Back Pain Relief | Prevent, Treat Back Ache
Natural Treatments for Back Pain:
Back pain is one of the most complaints present of the skeletal system. Some of the reasons for this condition nowadays are hazardous working lifestyle, sedentary lifestyle along with physical and mental stress and conditions which tend to increase your psychological ailments. Along with above given things alcohol is also the causative factor.
Obese person are more prone to this condition. Back muscles usually carry the weight of the whole body and thus obese people are more prone to ailments of the back.
Common causes of back pain are poor posture leading to straining of the joints and tension in the muscle of the back. Improper nutrition due to dietary errors and lack of any physical exercise can also cause back pain.
Other uncommon causes are kidney illness, prostate disease, disorders of women, arthritis and influenza.
Preventing Back Ache:
- Avoid long physical stress which can strain your back and cause back pain. Do sit in any position for long time.Move about every half an hour. Do lift anything heavy. Avoid wearing high heel shoes or foot wear. Try to be away from stress and worry.
- Take rest, especially bed rest.
- Avoid tobacco and alcohol.
- Diet should consist of a salad of raw vegetables such as carrot, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, cucumber and radish. Two vegetables should be taken daily and they should be lightly cooked or steamed. One can use carrot, Cabbage, cauliflower and spinach.Fruits should be taken in abundance especially the watery ones.
- Fruit and milk should be taken in your daily breakfast.
Home Remedies for Back Pain:
- Garlic is the most important remedy for treating back pain. Take 2-3 cloves of garlic and eat it every morning. Oil can be prepared for massage from garlic. This can be done by frying 10-12 cloves of garlic in 50-60ml of water. Sesame oil or coconut oil or mustard oil; any of the oil is used for frying. This process should be done on a slow flame till the garlic cloves turn brown in color. Strain the oil and let it cool. This oil should be used for massage and be allowed to be there for 3-4 hours before washing. This procedure should be carried out for 2-3 weeks at least.
- Raw potato is a very old kitchen remedy for back pain. Raw potato helps treating severe pain in the lower back region or especially in the lumbar part of the back region. Raw potato application is found to be very effective as poultice in treating lower back pain.
- A small piece of chebulic myroblan fruit should be eaten after each meal. This is helpful in reducing back pain.
