Knock knee is also known as Genu Valgum. Genu in Latin means knees and valgus means bent outwards. In simple words the distance between the ankles is more, than normal, when the knees touch together.
Many children’s have knock knee till the age of 5 years, but it gets corrected naturally of its own as the child attains maturity. The condition worsens if the child is suffering from rickets that is deficiency of vitamin D and calcium, or the child is fat. Some times bone injuries can be the cause of genu valgum.
    Treatment :
In child it corrects of its own as they grow up.
In adults if it is due to injury, or osteoarthritis, foot supports are used.

Conservative approach includes special inserts and modified exercise programs. Consult an orthopedic surgeon and a physical therapist. They will identify the bony curvature and accordingly program the exercise and inserts.
