Shoulder problems require a detailed assessment, they can be very difficult to diagnose because the whole mechanism is so intricate. It is also common for pain found in the shoulder to actually be related to a problem with the neck. Physiotherapy treatments such as massage, thermotherapy with warm or cold temperature packs, or transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation can be used to treat shoulder pain.

I have been having shoulder pain, with more acute in the left shoulder with discomfort in movement and mild in the right shoulder. It is diagnosed as PA shoulder. I am put on SWD for 10 days with anti-inflammatory pills for a week. What are the do’s and don’ts? I would like to preserve the movements of the hands. I am willing to continue with my routine exercise, but I have stopped for the past one week, with the apprehension that i should not pursue exercise when the inflammation and pain is there. Please guide regarding the exercise, if I can do any frozen shoulder exercises, even if there is pain or are there some prescribed exercise for PA shoulder and I should do those only?
