How I Lost 24 Pounds the Natural Way, Permanently!

 

My name is Peter. I am a 45 year old male. I will tell you my personal story about how I lost weight and managed to keep it off for the last 3 years.

Three years ago, when I was 42, I was heavy: 185 pounds (84 Kilos). I am 175 cms. (5 Feet 9 Inches). At 45 (now) I am still 175 cms. (Ha!) but my weight is down to 161 pounds (73 Kilos). It's been this way for the last 2-and-a-half years.

How did I manage to do this? When I look back, it looks very easy; almost a no-brainer. But in reality, the first 6 months were really tough. No, I did not go through any strenuous exercises or go on a crash diet to starve myself. I just had to change a few old habits. Yes, that's it! Simple, routine things that just went unnoticed all my life. I just had to tweak them a bit to realize how easy it is to lose weight!

But, in the beginning, just making some subtle changes to my lifestyle was a MAJOR problem. After all (all my life) I had trained my body to be what it is today - very heavy! I never thought it would take so much effort to just make small changes in my day-to-day activities. It was only after I tried really hard for a few days, and saw the immediate impact, I was motivated and thrilled to continue with the efforts.

I will walk you through the entire process I followed - not just that, I will also give you a background of what kind of life I was living just before I decided "enough is enough: I need to get back into shape". At least for the sake of my 10 year old daughter who, by the way, helped me lose some of the weight by making me play and run with her all the time (a fun way to lose weight!)
