Polyphenol are natural chemical compounds found in plants. These phenol compounds are more than one in number in a molecule, therefore they are called polyphenol. Some of the polyphenols found in a plant are, anthocyanins, flavanoids, phenolic acid, isoflavones, resveratrol, and quercetin.
Many of these polyphenols are present in fruits, plants and green tea. Strawberry and most of the berries, apples, pomegranate, grapes, etc are rich source of polyphenol.
