Uses of Energy Medicine
- Potential disruptions in chemical balance of the body may lead to disease. So detection of energy level is very important. Balance can then be restored or rebalanced.
- Electricity plays an important role in Energy Medicine (electrical therapies). For example trans-cutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is used for any type of localized physical pain. Most commonly used for sciatica, chronic back pain, neuralgia and arthritis. Sometimes it is used in combination after surgeries (lower back, hip and knee). Also being used for cancer pain, migraine, menstrual pain, dental pain, angina pectoris, repetitive strain injuries, jaw muscle pain, shingles pain, musculoskeletal pain and pain from nerve damage.
- Electro-acupuncture biofeedback helps to diagnose imbalances, presence of toxins and food allergies. Electroacuscope runs current through damaged tissue and relieves pain.
- Micro-current electrical therapy (MET) speeds wound healing and provides relief from muscle and joint pain.
Healing with Energy Medicine
- TENS – Here pulsed-current are sent to a set of electrodes stuck to the skin placed near painful area. Sessions are of 30-40 minutes, given 3-4 times a day.
- Electro-acupuncture – 4-20 disposable needles are inserted into the patients skin (stimulated with low-level electric charge) at acupuncture points or into the painful area. Treatment takes 15-30 minutes.
- Auricular Acupuncture – This therapy believes that each area of the ear is linked to a corresponding part of a body. Gentle pressure is applied to the part of the ear associated with the problem either through hands, acupuncture needles, weak electric current, infrared light or laser.
- Micro-current Electrical Therapy – Here electrodes are placed over the painful area on opposite sides of the body, so that current will run through it. Pain relief can be observed after minimum of 3 treatments.
- Mora – This instrument receives electromagnetic waves directly from the body, detects aberrant wave patterns and replaces them with normal waves.
- Sound Probe – This device emits a pulse-tone of 3 alternating frequencies that can destroy viruses and bacteria that is not in resonance with the body.
Who Should Avoid Energy Medicine
