Diet plays a very pivotal role in a person’s health, and the one who regulates it remains healthy.
Its important to pay attention where the food is grown and what chemicals was it exposed to.
Chemical additives and pesticides, saturated fats, red meat, refined starches and white flour have contributed to poor health and disease. Arteriosclerosis, some types of cancer, diabetes, coronary heart disease and strokes are the results of poor diets. Proper food is that which when taken is digested in due time without affecting ones health. Remember excess intake of food should always be accompanied with hard exercise.
Some diets emphasize organically grown, pesticide free, fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and seeds, yogurt containing live cultures, plenty of water and herbal teas. Some also allow organically raised poultry, fresh fish, low fat dairy products, nuts and beans. However alcohol, coffee, saturated fat, salt and sugar are to be avoided. Sometimes therapist may restrict you to only one type of fruit, only one type of food or raw food.
